Deep Freeze Ice Arena youth learn to play hockey programs are designed around the guidelines of USA Hockey’s ADM model, which creates a fun, relaxed learning environment for participants to learn the fundamental skills of ice hockey. The non-competitive and positive atmosphere not only makes a child’s first experience with hockey positive, but also creates an environment that they can excel. Participants will not only learn the skills and game of ice hockey, but will also develop self-esteem and self-confidence.The program operates under the premise that if a player’s introduction to the sport is positive, they will develop a lifetime love of the game. Our hockey programs are taught by Deep Freeze Ice Arena hockey staff, who is comprised of USA Hockey certified coaches with an extensive playing background.

This instructional league is for the hockey player who wants to develop their skating and hockey skills and play in competitive games without the same financial and time commitment as amateur hockey. This league is designed to improve player skills and then utilize these skills in game situations.

Deep Freeze Ice Arena Youth 3v3 cross ice league is the perfect way for youth players to remain active in the off-season, have fun, and work on their skills in a fast paced game environment. The program is non-checking/body contact, requires full hockey equipment and includes a jersey for each player. Registration will be limited to allow adequate ice time for each and every player.

This is a “draft style” league, so players must register as an individual, and all teams will be chosen in advance of the first game. Players may be placed in different age groups based on previous playing experience and registration numbers.
